Md. Man Charged In Death Of 2-Month-Old Niece
FOREST HILL, Md. (AP) -- The Harford County Sheriff's says a 19-year-old man has been charged in the death of his 2-month-old niece.
Deputies say paramedics were called to a home in Forest Hills about 11 p.m. Thursday and found the seriously injured infant. The child was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
Authorities say the infant's grandmother left her with the girl's uncle, 19-year-old Colin Christopher Wolf, who lived with the grandmother. Deputies say when the grandmother returned, she found that the infant was hurt.
Wolf was arrested and charged with attempted murder. Detectives say he hit the baby in the face.
Deputies say the infant died at 11 a.m. Friday. Authorities say charges against Wolf will be amended. He is being held without bail.
