Brown To Speak At Health Care Convention
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown will give the keynote speech at a convention of health care professionals and administrators.
Brown is scheduled to speak Wednesday at FutureCare's fifth annual convention in Baltimore. The speech will focus on health care for the state's senior citizens.
Brown was a chief advocate for Gov. Martin O'Malley's health care reform package, which the Maryland General Assembly just approved. O'Malley signed the legislation on Tuesday.
Brown co-chairs Maryland's Health Care Reform Coordinating Council. He also is chairman of the Health Quality and Cost Council.
