Md. Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown Announces Engagement
MITCHELLVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown is announcing he is engaged.
Brown released a joint statement with his fiance, Karmen Bailey Walker announcing the engagement on Monday.
The statement says the two are planning their wedding for the summer of 2012.
Brown, 49, announced in July of 2008 that he was separating from his wife of 15 years, Patricia Arzuaga. The couple divorced in 2009.
Brown has two children from that marriage, Rebecca, who is 16, and Jonathan, who is 10.
Bailey Walker, of Hughesville, has an 11-year-old son named Anthony from a previous marriage.
