Md. Liquor Store Robbed Of $2,500

PERRYVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police are looking for two men who bound and gagged a liquor store clerk and made off with $2,500.

It happened Thursday about 8:45 p.m. at the East Coast Liquor Store. Troopers tell the Cecil Whig that two men, one armed with a handgun, demanded money from the clerk. After getting cash, one of the men bound and gagged the clerk and then fled.

The clerk was able to free herself and call police.

Troopers say the same two men likely robbed the Perry Point Post Office on Wednesday.
