O'Malley To Take Questions On Session's Last Day
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Gov. Martin O'Malley is planning to answer questions from the public on Maryland Public Television shortly before the close of the 2011 legislative session.
The phone number to call at 7:30 p.m. Monday to ask O'Malley questions is 800-926-0629. The program will run for 25 minutes.
O'Malley has had mixed results this year in advancing his agenda in the Democrat-run General Assembly. The legislature has shelved two of his key measures -- to crack down on septic system pollution and mandate utilities buy offshore wind energy. Lawmakers are still debating his plan to establish a high-tech venture fund.
The General Assembly is scheduled to end its session at midnight Monday.
