Md. Gathers Feedback On Hunting Regulation Changes
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- The Maryland Department of Natural Resources is gathering feedback on proposed changes to hunting regulations.
The hearing in Hagerstown on Tuesday evening will address proposed hunting and trapping regulations for resident game species
and select migratory game birds.
Proposed new hunting fees will also be discussed at the meeting.
After consultation with sportsmen's groups, the department revamped its hunting-fee proposal and it is working on changes to a new boating fee structure.
The hearing is part of the department's Wildlife and Heritage Service reevaluation of hunting and trapping regulations every two
years.
