Md. Flags Lowered For Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Flags throughout Maryland are flying at half-staff in honor of National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
Friday marks 71 years since Japanese air forces attacked the U.S. naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on Dec. 7, 1941.
More than 2,000 Americans lost their lives in the attack, which brought the United States into World War II.
