Md. Fire Claims 2 More Lives
LEWISDALE, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County fire officials say a blaze that killed a 6-year-old boy has claimed the life of his mother and aunt.
Officials say Simone Anne Munroe, 36, and Janet Assing-Macklin, 61, died at the Washington Hospital Center, where they were taken after Sunday morning's fire in Lewisdale.
Six-year-old Omari Noel died shortly after the fire.
Fire investigators have concluded that an overloaded power strip in the living room caused the fire.
