Md. EMS Worker Charged With Sexually Abusing A Child
RIDGELY, Md. (WJZ) -- According to police, Robert Allen Simpson has been charged with sexually abusing a child in the early 1980s.
Police say in mid-February, the Caroline County's Sheriff's Office learned a child had been sexually abused in the 1980s. Upon investigation, they identified the suspect as Caroline County EMS worker Robert Allen Simpson.
Officials say the victim was sexually assaulted several times between the ages of 10 and 16 by Simpson.
Simpson has been charged with several counts of sex offense-related charges. He has been released on his own recognizance.
