Md. Delegate To Appear In Court On Domestic Violence Order
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) -- A Maryland state delegate is ordered to appear in court Monday.
Right now, Delegate Hasan "Jay" Jalisi must stay away from a member of his family.
WJZ obtained a police report which states Jalisi slapped his daughter, who was home from college.
No formal charges have been filed.
On Monday, a judge will decide whether to keep him away from her.
Jalisi was just elected to the House of Delegates in November. He represents portions and north and west Baltimore County.
Jalisi is also a member of the House Judiciary Committee.
