Md. Casinos Generate More Than $72 Million During June
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Maryland officials say the state's four casinos brought in more than $72 million in revenue last month.
The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency announced the revenue numbers Monday. Maryland Live Casino in Anne Arundel County led the group with more than $56.5 million from slot machines and table games. That's an approximately 10 percent increase from June 2013.
Hollywood Casino Perryville generated just over $7 million from slots and table games, about a 10 percent decline compared to last June.
Casino at Ocean Downs generated more than $4.8 million from slot machines, a slight decrease from June 2013.
Rocky Gap Casino Resort generated about $3.7 million from slot machines and table games, an increase of more than 50 percent from June 2013.
