Md. Attorney General Doug Gansler Holds Manufacturing Forum
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Maryland Attorney General Doug Gansler is holding a forum on how to expand manufacturing in Maryland.
Gansler is scheduled to hold the forum at the UAW Union Hall in Hagerstown on Friday. He is set to meet with leaders in business, labor and local elected officials to talk about boosting Maryland manufacturing and attracting new businesses to create jobs.
Gansler, who is expected to officially announce his run for governor in September, is holding a series of forums around the state to discuss policy ideas.
The event in Hagerstown is the second such forum. Last month, he held a forum in Rockville focused on initiatives to prevent domestic violence.
