Maryland's Brad Craddock Wins Lou Groza Award
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (AP) -- Maryland's Brad Craddock has won the Lou Groza Award as the nation's top kicker.
Craddock was presented with the award Thursday night during the College Football Awards Show at Disney.
He's the first Maryland player to win the award.
Craddock made a school-record 57-yarder against Ohio State, and 18 of his 19 field goals overall this season.
Craddock was selected over finalists Roberto Aguayo of Florida State and West Virginia's Josh Lambert. Aguayo won the award in 2013.
