Maryland's 2 Casinos Generate $10.8M In January
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- The Maryland Lottery says the state's two casinos generated nearly $10.8 million in January.
The lottery said Monday that figure brings the fiscal year total for both facilities to $38.3 million.
The Hollywood Casino in Perryville generated $7.7 million in January. That brings its fiscal year total to $35.3 million since it opened in September.
The Ocean Downs casino on the Eastern Shore near Ocean City has made about $3 million since opening last month.
