Maryland Woman Charged In Stabbing In Target Lot
LANHAM, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County police say they have charged a 55-year-old woman with attempted murder in the stabbing of another woman near a Target store.
Police say Antoinette Starks of Bowie was also charged with assault and assault with a deadly weapon on Tuesday, and is being held without bond.
Authorities say they were called to a report of a stabbing near the store on Martin Luther King Highway in Lanham about 9:45 a.m.
Police say they found a 39-year-old woman suffering from multiple stab wounds in the parking lot. She was taken to a hospital, where she was in stable condition.
Police arrested Starks after finding her in the lot with knives.
Authorities say Starks was previously charged with stabbing two women at a Nordstrom store in Maryland in 2005.
