BALTIMORE - Temperatures today will climb into the lower 80s with sunshine and a gusty breeze. Winds of change begin Monday.

Expect plenty of sunshine on this Sunday with a big warm-up coming our way this afternoon. With an increasing southwesterly wind, we'll see high temperatures climb into the lower 80s. These temperatures are over 10° above average. A south to southwesterly breeze will increase at 10 to 20 mph with occasional gusts to 25 mph. The weather looks warm and sunny for the Ravens game, so no weather issues!

A strong cold front will cross the area tonight. Ahead of it, we'll see a mild breeze out of the southwest. This will keep temperatures in the 60s for a good chunk of the night. Clouds will thicken from the west and there's an outside chance of a brief sprinkle or shower after midnight through the predawn hours Monday. Lows tonight will be in the upper 50s & lower 60s.

Winds will howl on Monday. Early morning sunshine will mix with clouds and gusty winds will quickly ramp up late Monday morning into the afternoon. Highs will reach the lower to middle 60s. Winds will gust 30 to 35 mph.

Chilly Monday night with lows in the mid-40s with a chilly breeze.

Tuesday looks very chilly! Morning temperatures will start in the middle 40s and a gusty breeze is around the entire day. Highs only climb into the middle to upper 50s with a mainly cloudy sky. There's even the chance of a few sprinkles or light showers, especially in western Maryland, but a few of them may survive into the Baltimore metro.

Wednesday will feature more in the way of bright sunshine with highs in the upper 50s.

The coldest nights will be Wednesday night into Thursday morning and Thursday night into Friday morning. Lows will dip down into the upper 30s. Thursday night the winds may lighten up enough so that some areas may receive patchy frost, which would be the first of the season.

High pressure continues to control our weather through the end of the week into next weekened with a gradual warm-up. By next weekend, high temperatures return to near 70°.

This is a dry pattern with little to no significant rain in the next 7 to 10 days.
