Maryland Weather: Severe Thunderstorm Watches Canceled For Parts Of State
BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued for parts of Maryland again Wednesday.
A severe thunderstorm watch was in effect for Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles, Prince George's and St. Mary's counties until 8 p.m.
A number of other counties were also dropped from the watch.
Caroline, Cecil, Kent, Queen Anne's and Talbot counties were under a severe thunderstorm watch until 9 p.m.
Tuesday, the city dealt with a round of severe weather that brought slow-moving, nearly stationary storms to the region.
These storms caused widespread flash-flooding across Baltimore City before collapsing later Tuesday evening.
By the end of the night, an unofficial observation from Highlandtown reported over four inches of rain had fallen in that area.
