Maryland Weather: Flood Warning Issued For Parts Of Baltimore & Harford Counties
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The National Weather Service issued flood warnings for portions of Northeast Baltimore & Northeast Harford Counties until 12:00 a.m.
Several inches of rain may have cause streaks out of their banks Weatherman Bob Turk said in a tweet.
However, the severe thunderstorm warning that was in effect for parts of Maryland has been lifted according to the National Weather Service.
WJZ's weather team was tracking several severe weather threats for the Baltimore region and surrounding counties.
The severe thunderstorm watch has also been lifted.
The National Weather Service issued a Flash Flood Watch from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. for the Baltimore area and other portions of Maryland Thursday as showers and thunderstorms rolled in.
There was a Flood Warning issued for Baltimore and Harford County until 12:00 a.m. and Cecil County until 12:45 a.m.
The Flash Flood Watch was also issued for these areas.

Two to four inches of rain was a possibility for northeast Maryland. Damaging winds were the main threat, but hail or an isolated tornado was also possible, according to Meteorologist Meg MaNamara.
