Elkton shooting leaves two dead, two others injured
BALTIMORE-- A quadruple shooting in Elkton claimed two lives and injured two others early Saturday morning, according to Maryland State Police (MDSP).
State police responded to a shooting on Chestnut Drive around 6:00 a.m. after reports of a man lying in the middle of the road. MDSP has currently closed off Chestnut Drive, situated near Willow Drive.
One of the deceased has been identified as Tamir Rasheek Davis, a 26-year-old man from New Castle, Deleware. Davis was pronounced dead after being transported to a hospital.
The other deceased individual has not been positively identified. However, the cause of death for both individuals is unknown and pending the results of an autopsy.
The two others who were hospitalized are receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. Their conditions are unknown and their identities have been withheld pending police investigation.
No further information has been disclosed about the circumstances surrounding the shooting, the whereabouts of any suspects involved, or related details.
