Maryland Man Accused Of Stabbing Stepson To Death
FEDERALSBURG, Md. (AP) -- Caroline County authorities say an argument between a stepfather and his stepson has turned deadly in Federalsburg.
Sheriff's deputies were called to a home Friday night on Old Denton Road for a reported stabbing. Police say they found Samuel Johnson Jr., 36, of Federalsburg with several stab wounds. He was taken to a hospital in Seaford, Del., where he was pronounced dead.
WBOC-TV reports deputies have arrested Homer Smith, 59, of Federalsburg in the killing.
Investigators say Smith and Johnson got into an argument that turned physical. They say Smith stabbed Johnson several times.
Smith is being charged with second-degree murder.
