Maryland Inmate Walks Off From Work-Release Job
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Maryland prison officials say an inmate is at large after walking away from a work-release job in Hagerstown.
They say Christopher Randolph, 50, failed to return to the medium-security Maryland Correction Training Center after his shift at a downtown food-service business ended at 10 p.m. Monday.
Randolph is formerly of Ijamsville in Frederick County. He was serving a 13-year sentence for robbery with a deadly
weapon stemming from a 2004 incident in Frederick County.
The Division of Correction says he was scheduled for release in December.
