Maryland Goose Hunting Season Opens Saturday
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Maryland's goose hunting season gets underway this weekend.
The season for migratory Atlantic Canada geese opens Saturday for a week, closing Nov. 23. Hunters then have to wait for the season to reopen Dec. 11, when they can hunt geese again until Jan. 30.
The bag limit is two geese a day in the Atlantic population Canada goose hunting zone. The zone includes all counties that border the Chesapeake Bay or the Atlantic, as well as parts of Carroll, Howard, Prince George's and Charles counties.
