Maryland Celebrates Flag Day Across The State, In Baltimore
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- You've probably seen plenty of Old Glory today, it's Flag Day!
President Woodrow Wilson made the day celebrating the American Flag official in 1916 and then Congress established it as a National Holiday in 1949.
There was even celebration at the Star Spangled Banner Flag House and Museum on East Pratt Street in Baltimore.
As part of Flag Day celebration, government buildings have been required to fly the American Flag all week.
