Mark Zinno: LeBron- A Lonely Man
It's not hard to figure out why LeBron James stands alone by himself. Too much talent with too little hardware. I get it. In the game right now, I don't know if there is a player who can guard him straight up. I don't know if there is a better player who can put a team on his back. LeBron can drop 40 as good as anyone. But the real question is not can he do it when it counts, but WILL he do it when it counts? That time is now.
The Thunder look like the machine that the Spurs were, until they lost four straight to the Thunder. So could this series be all but over if the Heat fall into an 0-2 hole? Probably. So Lebron, your time is now. Game 2. Take over and do your stuff. For all we make of LeBron not being able to hit a clutch shot, he is in control of not putting himself in that position. Take over. Carry your team. I would rather see him take 25 shots in game 2 and just be awful, then try and ask for help from guys who clearly can't give it to him.
LeBron and the Heat have all the pressure. Not only in game 2, but in the series. It's time for the "king" to take his crown.
