Man Who Threatened To Blow Up Baltimore TV Station Pleads Guilty
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The man who donned an animal costume and threatened to blow up a Baltimore television station has pleaded guilty.
Alex Brizzi, 25, admitted in court Wednesday he committed second-degree arson, assault and other offenses. That's according to our media partner, The Baltimore Sun.
On April 28, Brizzi walked into the Fox 45 station on TV Hill, claiming he was wearing a bomb. He then engaged in a standoff with police before he was shot three times. The bomb was fake.
A judge found Brizzi not criminally responsible and committed him to Spring Grove Hospital Center.
