Man Who Robbed 2 Stores In 2 Days Sentenced
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- A homeless man who robbed two stores in two days and crashed into police cars while fleeing has been sentenced to 25 years in prison without parole.
Derrick Lanham, 45, had pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery. He was sentenced Monday.
The Capital of Annapolis reports that according to his plea, Lanham robbed a convenience store on April 11 and a beauty supply shop on April 12. Both stores are in Glen Burnie.
When fleeing the second robbery in a car, Lanham crashed into two patrol cars, injuring two police officers.
