Man Struck By Montgomery County School Bus
GAITHERSBURG, Md. (AP) -- Police say an adult pedestrian has suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a school bus in Montgomery County.
Investigators tell WNEW Radio the Montgomery County school bus struck a man Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Darnestown Road and Shady Grove Road.
There were no children on the bus at the time of the accident. No other injuries were reported.
The incident closed the two roads in Gaithersburg near the scene. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
