Man Stabbed, Critically Injured In Edgewood Fight
EDGEWOOD, Md. (AP) -- Harford County sheriff's office says an Abingdon man was stabbed and critically injured when a heated exchange turned violent
Deputies were called to a home in Edgewood early Sunday for a report of a fight, but the two men involved were gone. A 20-year-old man was taken to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center with a stab wound to the chest and was later transferred to Shock Trauma in critical condition.
The sheriff's office says witnesses told detectives that two men had an altercation around 3 a.m. Sunday and one of them was stabbed during a heated exchange two hours later.
Detectives arrested Christopher McCullough, 20, of Abingdon later in the day and charged him with attempted first-degree murder and assault. McCullough is being held without bail pending a hearing.
