Man Shot In Foot During Home Invasion
ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County police say a man was shot in the foot during a home invasion and robbery attempt.
Police say it happened about 12:20 a.m. Monday in the Stonegate neighborhood of Montgomery County. A man was getting out of his car in the garage at his home when two masked men, one with a shotgun, approached him and demanded money.
The victim and the robber struggled and the shotgun fired, hitting the victim in the foot.
The suspects fled on foot without getting money. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
