Man Seriously Injured In Anne Arundel Co. Crash
SHADY SIDE, Md. (WJZ) -- Anne Arundel County Police are investigating after a serious crash in Shady Side.
It happened Thursday night on northbound Route 468, south of Deale Churchton Road.
Police say a gray Jeep Cherokee driven by Patrick Grimes, 29, went off the roadway and into the grass.
Once in the grass, the vehicle overturned and began to roll. Grimes, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle. Grimes was taken to Shock Trauma and is currently listed in serious but stable condition.
Two passengers in the vehicle were not hurt.
Police believe speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash.
The investigation continues.
