Man Sentenced To Life In Shooting Death
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- A man who pleaded guilty to fatally shooting a father of three outside a Glen Burnie tavern has been sentenced to life in prison.
Thirty-four-year-old Clayton Battle will be eligible for parole in 15 years. He was sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty to first-degree murder in the shooting of Kelly Fisher of Glen Burnie on Dec. 4, 2010.
The Capital of Annapolis reports that prosecutors say Battle got out of his car in front of Dietrich's Tavern, pointed a rifle at Fisher and shot him three times.
