Man Sentenced To 22 Years In Restaurant Shooting
WASHINGTON (AP) -- A Maryland man has been sentenced to 22 years in prison for fatally shooting a man outside a Dupont Circle restaurant over Thanksgiving weekend.
Thirty-year-old Brandon Terry of Riverdale was sentenced Friday in the slaying of 34-year-old Jhonte Coleman of Suitland. Terry had pleaded guilty earlier this month to second-degree murder while armed.
Police said a fight broke out at the Heritage India restaurant on Nov. 27. Two other men were wounded in the fracas.
Terry was arrested in February.
