Man Sentenced To 20 Years For Sex Trafficking
BALTIMORE (AP) -- A man who operated brothels in Annapolis and Easton has been sentenced to nearly 20 years in prison after being convicted of sex trafficking.
Kevin Garcia Fuertes, 26, was sentenced Tuesday in federal court in Baltimore. Fuertes, a Honduran citizen in the U.S. illegally, faces deportation when his sentence is completed.
According to government evidence presented at his trial, Fuertes and others recruited and employed prostitutes, many of whom were in the U.S. illegally.
