Man Sentenced To 11 Years In Pharmacy Burglary
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- A man who pleaded guilty to stealing painkillers while burglarizing a Smithsburg pharmacy has been sentenced to 11 years in prison.
Matthew Feick, 27, of no fixed address was sentenced on Monday.
Smithsburg police responded to an alarm at Home Care Pharmacy on April 9 and saw someone running for the business. A state trooper stopped a car in the area and arrested Feick and another man.
The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown reports that Feick was ordered to pay $12,500 in restitution for damage to the pharmacy and the cost of the stolen medications.
