Laurel Man Sentenced For Marijuana Distribution, Money Laundering
BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- A 38-year-old Laurel man is sentenced to 21 years in prison for distributing 10,000 pounds of marijuana.
According to testimony presented at James Bestman's trial, he got marijuana from a source in Arizona and distributed it on the East Coast and in Ohio.
Evidence showed that Bestman was also involved in a money laundering deal in connection with buying a 2007 Mercedes.
Bestman was prosecuted by the U.S. District Court in Baltimore.
