Man Sentenced For Sexually Abusing Pre-Teen Girl
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- A 69-year-old man convicted of sexually abusing a pre-teen girl has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.
Gerald Wayne Hubbard of Boonsboro was sentenced in Washington County Circuit Court on Friday.
Prosecutors say Hubbard molested the girl while she and a relative were living in a camper van on his property in 2007 and 2008. The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown reports that Hubbard was charged in 2010 after the girl revealed the abuse to a therapist.
The relative pleaded guilty last year to child abuse.
