Man Sentenced For Robbing Banks In W.Va., Md., Pa.
WHEELING, W.Va. (AP) -- A Pittsburgh man convicted of robbing banks in three states will spend more than 12 years in prison.
Jeremy T. Dugan, 33, pleaded guilty in January to robbing the First Commonwealth Bank in Oakdale, Pa., the First Choice American Community Federal Credit Union in Elm Grove, W.Va., and the PNC Bank in Perryville, Md., in 2011.
U.S. Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld II says a federal judge sentenced Dugan on Monday to 12 years and seven months in prison.
Dugan will spend three years on supervised release when he completes the sentence. Under the plea agreement, he also will forfeit $5,900 stolen from the Elm Grove bank and $2,496 from the Perryville bank.
