Man Pleads Guilty To Shooting Ex-Girlfriend
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- A Glen Burnie man has pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree murder for shooting his ex-girlfriend.
Steven Joseph Brown, 41, entered the plea Tuesday.
He will be sentenced March 24.
Prosecutors say Brown met his ex-girlfriend on Sept. 26 near his home to return their 4-year-old daughter to her. Authorities say Brown said he wanted to get back together with his girlfriend, but she refused.
Prosecutors say Brown pulled out a gun and shot the woman once in the hand and once in the hip.
