Man Pleads Guilty To Possessing Child Pornography
SNOW HILL, Md. (AP) -- A Berlin man convicted of animal cruelty has pleaded guilty to five counts of possessing child pornography.
Kirt Barren Greenberg, 46, entered the plea this week. Sentencing is set for Dec. 20.
Prosecutors say a 17-year-old girl who had been staying at Greenberg's house last year told authorities he had videotaped her.
When police searched Greenberg's home, they found cameras set up throughout the residence. Authorities seized 52 items, including cameras, computers and hard drives.
The Daily times of Salisbury reports that Greenberg is also scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 6 on an animal cruelty conviction.
In August 2010, Greenberg and his fiancée left six dogs -- one of which later died -- in a locked vehicle at a mall in Salisbury on a hot day.
