Man Pleads Guilty To Murder In October Stabbing
WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) -- A Baltimore man has pleaded guilty to first-degree felony murder in a stabbing death in October.
Michael Brooks, 27, entered the plea Tuesday in the death of Steven Hobson, 40, on Oct. 2.
Sentencing has not been scheduled, but prosecutors plan to ask for 30 years in prison for Brooks.
The Carroll County Times reports prosecutors as saying that Hobson and an acquaintance were watching television in Hobson's apartment when Brooks and Tuson Reese burst into the apartment. Reese allegedly stabbed Hobson while Brooks stood over the acquaintance.
Reese's trial is set for October.
