Man Pleads Guilty To Killing Ex-Girlfriend's Mom
SALISBURY, Md. (AP) -- A man has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder for shooting his pregnant ex-girlfriend's mother in a rampage in Salisbury.
Twenty-year-old Myles Lyons also on Friday pleaded guilty to 19 other offenses committed on Nov. 27, when he killed 39-year-old Lakisha Jackson.
The Daily Times of Salisbury reports that in a plea bargain, Lyons will be sentenced to three concurrent life sentences.
Prosecutors say Lyons fatally shot Lakisha Jackson, shot and stabbed his ex-girlfriend Nicole Jackson, and shot her sister, Tyisha Jackson.
The two sisters survived, and Nicole Jackson's baby was safely delivered the same day as the shootings.
