Man Pleads Guilty In Drunk Driving Death
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- A Frederick man has pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence in the death of a homeless man he hit.
Twenty-five-year-old Anthony Cilluffo entered the plea Thursday in a Frederick County court. The News-Post of Frederick reports that under a plea bargain, he will be sentenced to three years in prison in December.
Police say 59-year-old Ricky Quan Shelton was sitting on a loading dock at a former grocery store in Frederick early May 2 when a car driven by Cilluffo slammed into him. Shelton died on May 11 at Shock Trauma in Baltimore.
