Man Killed, Another Hurt In Cecil County Robbery
NORTH EAST, Md. (AP) -- The Cecil County Sheriff's Office say one man has died and another man was injured during a robbery at a home in North East.
Deputies were called to the home about 12:30 a.m. Police say several people entered the home, intending to rob the people inside.
Deputies say 19-year-old Kenneth Lee Curry, who lived in the home, was shot by one of the suspects. He taken to Christiana Hospital in Newark, Del., where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities say another man had been taken to Union Hospital in Elkton with multiple gunshot wounds. Deputies say he was also shot in the North East incident.
That victim was transferred to Christiana Hospital, where deputies say he was in critical condition.
