Man Gets Life In Prison After Killing Man, Wounding Boy
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Joseph Oglesby has been sentenced to life in prison after police say he killed Ralph Timmons in April, 2013.
According to police, Oglesby and another man, John Knox, broke into a home when Timmons came in and found one of the suspects. Oglesby shot Timmons multiple times.
Timmons' 11-year-old son was upstairs and came down to see what was happening. The boy was shot, too. He was able to escape and run for help; he found a nearby policeman and told him what had happened.
Oglesby was found hiding in a foldout couch in the basement; Knox was found in a crawlspace.
Timmons was pronounced dead at Shock Trauma.
