Man Gets 40 Years In Fatal Home Invasion
ELKTON, Md. (AP) -- An Elkton man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison in the shooting death of a woman during a home invasion in Chesapeake City in 2009.
Joel Milburn, 21, was sentenced Monday in Cecil County Circuit Court. He pleaded guilty in August to first-degree murder in the shooting death of Terri Ann McCoy, 40, of Iron Hill, Del.
Milburn, along with three other men, was accused of gunning down McCoy on Nov. 4, 2009. after she found them inside her parents' home.
One of the other three men has been sentenced; two are awaiting sentencing.
