Man Gets 40 Years For 2 Rapes In Canton Area
BALTIMORE (AP) -- A Baltimore City Circuit Court judge has sentenced a Virginia man to 40 years in prison for raping two women in the city's Canton area.
Donald "Doc" Vaughn, 20, of Whitestone, Va., had pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree rape and one count of first-degree assault. He was sentenced on Monday.
Prosecutors say on Jan. 1, 2007, Vaughn raped a woman in her home. On Dec. 19, 2009, Vaughn raped a woman and slashed her neck after he said he would shovel snow at her property.
Officials say Vaughn has two sexual assault cases pending in Lancaster, Va.
