Man Gets 30 Years For Md. Pizzeria Slaying

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- A man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for his role in a slaying during a botched robbery at an Anne Arundel County pizzeria.

Charles Butler was sentenced Friday in the November 2010 shooting of Misael Flores at a Mr. Wings and Pizza in Glen Burnie.

The Capital of Annapolis reports that two other defendants, Shawn "Hawk" Johnson and Vincent Bunner, are to be sentenced in the coming days for their roles. A fourth man is expected to enter a plea in the fall.

Butler will be referred to the Patuxent Youth Program. He apologized in court, though the judge said he didn't believe Butler's expressions of remorse were genuine.

Anne Arundel County Circuit Court Judge Michael Wachs said the crime was senseless.
