Man Gets 20 Years For Selling Crack To Informant
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- A Frederick man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for selling $100 worth of crack cocaine to a police informant.
Timothy Carmon, 51, was sentenced Monday after pleading guilty to the felony charge. Prosecutors say this is Carmon's third conviction.
Prosecutors allege that on Aug. 19, the informant arranged to buy the crack outside a liquor store.
Prosecutors say Carmon was approached by the informant and an undercover police officer, who was wearing a recording device and videotaped the transaction.
