Man Gets 20-Year Sentence For Robbing Liquor Store
BALTIMORE (AP) -- A federal judge has sentenced a man to 20 years in prison for robbing a liquor store in Towson and threatening to kill the clerk.
According to his plea agreement, Aaron Davis admitted that he and another man went into the store on Jan. 19, 2010, put a gun to the clerk's head and demanded money. Authorities say Davis, 25, threatened to kill the clerk.
A second clerk entered the store during the robbery and was also made to give the two money from another register.
Authorities say surveillance video showed that Davis was wearing a distinctive baseball cap during the robbery that he was also wearing when he was arrested months later.
The second suspect, Edward Samples, pleaded guilty in the case and is awaiting sentencing.
