Man Get 40 Years For Selling Crack Cocaine
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- A man convicted of distribution of cocaine has been sentenced to 40 years in prison without parole.
Edgar Sayles, 41, of Hagerstown was convicted in March and sentenced Friday. He received an enhanced mandatory sentence because of previous drug convictions.
The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown says Sayles had been accused of selling crack to a confidential informant. He fired his lawyer and represented himself during trial.
